Mike has the ability to visualize what I describe in a home and to stick with it throughout the entire construction process.

I choose Boreal Woodworking because I knew that I could design the complete house project with Mike Dietzman during the summer, leave until the following June, and be confident that he would create something beautiful, totally "turn-key" down to the smallest details, and that it would happen on time and within budget.
I built on a pristine and remote island, and Mike saw this as an opportunity rather than a hassle. He accepted the logistical challenge and created something that lived up to the beauty of its surroundings.
In springtime, if he had to paddle his canoe out to the construction site before Caroline and I got the boats in the water, well, that was fine with him. I could tell he reveled in the idea that he was building in a special place, somewhere no one had lived in all the history of the North Country, and he was going to use all his talents to create a home he would always be proud of.
I recommend Boreal Woodworking because Mike is, quite simply, the best contractor I have ever worked with. Over 8 years and several projects he has earned my trust and respect.
I have built and renovated quite a few homes in my life, and I cannot stress how rare it is to have a contractor as conscientious and talented as Mike.
